Melanie McClintock has been active in the Brooklyn design scene since moving to NYC in 2004. For 2 1/2 years she had her own store, Ai Ai Gasa, which sold her clothes as well as other local designers. She specializes in creating fashion from recycled umbrellas and will be going on the road in her mobile pop-up shop in June 2009.
