Kate's Collection Brings An Oriental Opulence To Christmas


Kate Moss Topshop launches Christmas 2009 collection. The collection presents an assortment of luxurious yet sophisticated oriental-inspired pieces for day and evening festive wear, along with an exclusive lingerie preview online.

Influences of traditional Chinese and Japanese clothing run through the collection. The Cheongsam dress, normally made in embroidered satin is brought up to date in a gunmetal lurex knit whilst kimono shape dresses in chiffons and silks offer a sensual laid-back style. The sleeves on the 'Geisha Rose' print blouse are voluminous and bell-shaped. Prints of bamboo, flying stalks, lotus flowers and fireworks are flamboyant reflecting the richness of the orient.

Knitwear is given glamorous details, offering comfort and sparkle for winter dressing. A soft grey cashmere tunic is dressed up with a silver beaded obi belt whilst two classic knit crew-neck jumpers in slate grey and navy are spruced up with jewelled shoulder pads stitched to the outside of the garment. A series of lurex-striped shrugs and sequinned knit waistcoats when worn over a casual outfit add instant night-time luxury.

The black rectangular jagged sequin bandeau maxi dress epitomises festive party-wear mixed with Kate's signature rock-n-roll style. Elsewhere a traditional floral beaded long sleeve dress is one-shouldered and the skirt of a strapless mini dress is covered in black mesh petals and gold beads. Snake print leather obi belts wrap around smart dresses and ostrich feathers adorn the sleeves of a shift dress.

Miranda Kerr Shows Off Bikini Bod For Victoria's Secret

Aussie model Miranda Kerr gave onlookers an eyeful as she posed in a skimpy bikini for a Victoria's Secret promo.




The 26-year-old, who is presently dating British actor Orlando Bloom, hit the beach for the lingerie firm's sexy shoot in St Barths, France.



Kerr was said to have been in the equally bare company of her bikini-clad hair and make-up crew during the assignment, reports the Sun. The star was the first Australian addition to the Victoria's Secret campaign. She entered the fashion industry in her early teens after winning a 1997 Australian nationwide model search.

Wildcat print strikes at Wickedelic Lingerie


They do claim that a wild cat the size of a Puma stalks the hinterland of Dartmoor with many a sighting of oversized black felines reported in the area - usually late on a Saturday night.

Designers to put fashion spotlight at Fashion In Detroit

Fashion In Detroit (FID) - Michigan's premier fashion event - announced its designer lineup made up of prestigious national designers, up and coming local designers, plus the very best of Michigan's fashion students.

Cellufun debuts Jillian Lewis spring line in Virtual World

Anna Scholz Evokes ‘Wonderland’ Themes Of Exploring New Terrain

Popular plus size designer, Anna Scholz has dubbed her latest collection “Wonderland” in keeping with the fantastical prints and colours that she favours. In addition, multiple worlds and eras comingle in the collection, lending it a sense of playfulness and possibility.

BRAVE NEW WORLDS

This collection’s prints conjure computer game landscapes and technicolour, otherworldy gardens. Jungle cat prints romp alongside geometric graphics. Blocks of bold brights buttress cosmic swirls.
