Despite the 7 degree weather, we stopped by the Puffin Room to attend the opening of a group show entitled The Playground. The work was a combination of sophomoric and precious that (while I assume was unintended) seemed not inappropriate for a show that is supposedly
an exploration in regard to (the artists) reluctance and personal struggle to the surrendering of their childhood. Luckily there was some creativity in clothing.


If only the artists paid as much attention to detail. We love: the heart monitor tattoo, hot pink fingerless leather gloves, tattered tights, purple tights, and old school shoes and combat boots with bubble skirts.
